General Area of Investigation: Photography

Can you be more specific about your title?  (ie What element/s of the above do you plan to investigate?): I would like to investigate food photography and it's history, how it is recognised( a genre?), how it has developed over the years, I would like to do this by taking my own images of food, however I am not 100% sure on how I plan to present this.

Do you have an initial idea for your title?: the History of Food Photography

What research sources have you already consulted that could aid your project?: Researched websites and information ont he history of food photography, looking at magazines and artists, also looking at food stylists as the have a big part to play in the representation of food.

What other sources are you aware of that you have not yet consulted?: getting in contact with a food stylist and get tips from them, also researching the best way on how to create the best images of food.

Where else do you plan to look for research sources?: Library and the Internet.   If you are producing an artefact,what do you imagine it will be?: maybe a book (cookbook/ magazine) or a series of images and research. not too sure. Have you had any supervisor feedback so far? If so, what?: was told to try and get in touch with food stylists to gather more information around the subject of food photography.
